Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor, go to the emergency department, or call 911 immediately. Contour Health does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned on this website. Compounded Medications Disclaimer

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded drugs. Compounded medications are prepared by FDA-registered 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

The compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide medications offered through Contour Health contain the same active pharmaceutical ingredients as FDA-approved brand-name medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound), but the compounded formulations themselves have not undergone FDA review or approval processes.

Compounded medications may be prescribed when a licensed healthcare provider determines that a commercially available FDA-approved medication is not appropriate for a particular patient, or when there are supply shortages of FDA-approved medications.
